Yes, recycled! The fabric is an old Cath Kidston oil cloth table cover that has multiple stains - yet I couldn't get rid of it could I? Instead I'm using up the parts of the cloth that are clean enough to still use.
I was so excited about my new stock of vintage linens that I was inspired to make this cheery little bag to help hang them. I've been meaning to make one for ages - I wouldn't buy one would I? Instead I've been toting pegs around in an old ice cream container for about five years (ice cream not still in it ;)
It was very simple, I just broke the ends off a hanger - the cheapy kind that come on clothes when you buy them, and I drew a pattern around it.
If anyone is interested in the pattern, I can make have made a PDF with instructions for it - just make a request in comments. It was super easy and quick to make and made me sing while I pegged the laundry - it's OK no one was listening.

This is a great idea; it's cute and functional. I'd love a tutorial. I don't have a yard (drats to being stuck in an apartment) but it's a great idea for gifts for people who do.

Hi,
I've seen you're going to make a tutorial for it but thought I should still comment here to tell you how gorgeous it is:) I have been wanting to make one for my mom who always hangs her clothes outside Summer as Winter. I would too if I didn't live in a highrise tenement building:( Well, I could always make one for my "indoor drying rack" (I'm sure that's not how you say in English but it will just have to do). Anyway, thanks for the lovely inspiration that is your blog and the numerous tutorials you have posted in the past; it's very generous and inspiring of you:)
All the best,
Christina
